Chapter Twelve

She was becoming again. As she had become something different after Hawk. After meeting Julian. It was odd how she’d found these moments when she knew she wouldn’t be the same. The moment that Hawk had taken her had been a turning point, and the Katherine she’d been had died. The moment that Nat had reached for her hand in the cage had been another.
